U18 National: one team, a big away win.

An away game starts long before the first basket. There is the journey, the change of surroundings and the challenge of stepping onto another team’s court. BC Allschwil’s U18 National team travelled to face SAM Massagno with determination and a shared purpose: to compete together and bring their best to the game.

The result was an emphatic 110–52 win for Allschwil in Round 2 of the U18 National Men competition. A strong result away from home, and a moment the players, coaches and everyone following the team can take pride in.

The club’s result banner highlights Milowitsch with 24 points, Reinhardt with 20, Stojanovski with 19 and Kovacevic with 18. Those numbers deserve recognition, but the story belongs to the team. Basketball asks more than scoring: it asks players to trust one another, stay committed and put a shared goal first.

For a young team, days like this are part of a bigger journey. Every trip and every opponent brings another opportunity to learn what it means to compete at national level. This win is something to celebrate — and encouragement to keep working, keep growing and approach the next challenge with the same determination.

Congratulations to the U18 National players and coaching staff, and thank you to everyone supporting them along the way. Allschwil, ONE TEAM.
